About us
Wesley Mallin is a broadcast journalist who's been working in local radio and as a press contributor for the last ten years. He's worked all over Britain but now lives in rural Derbyshire.
"I started Mallin Media because I saw so many small organisations struggle to get news of their work in to the media, simply because they didn't know how to make contact properly."
"At the same time the public's always asking journalists to cover more positive stories. They say "Why don't you talk about nice things for a change?". The answer is it's easy to find bad news. What we do is encourage organisations to think positively about their work and sell it to journalists."
"Yes, we're here to make a living, but we only get customers if we help them. That's a great way of doing business for us. Smaller organisations are savvy. They don't throw away cash on something that isn't going to do the job. It really keeps you on your toes."
Mallin Media has already provided media training for national charities, grant funded organisations, campaigners and local political activists across the UK.
